If you’re wondering who judges these awards, rest assured that they aren’t high-up employees of majors airlines or stuffy editors. They’re chosen by everyday flyers like you! Want to know the best airline to book your business class ticket from? Curious what makes the best first class so special? Wondering if there is really a difference between economy and premium economy? Fill your curiosity and  take a look at the list below to see what airline best fits your needs.

Scroll to the bottom to see who one the best airline overall!

Best Economy Class

They say you’re only as strong as your weakest link. This year’s winner of Best Economy Class might take this into consideration by making sure their lowest paying flyers are treated like first-class. They’ve recently introduced “new economy,” which would leave you thinking you’d paid extra for the cushioned headrests, 11 in. touch screen entertainment system, and option to select the Preferred Seating. Preferred Seating gives you the option of a little extra room without upgrading classes. Although their new economy is only available in certain air crafts, they’re working on retrofitting older planes to make sure you get all the perks their new economy class has to offer. We’re guessing all this extra effort to make sure economy flyers are happy with their flight is why Singapore Airlines has won Best Economy Class.

Best Premium Economy Class

This next airline is anything but small, but that doesn’t mean they don’t understand the importance of the little things. There’s nothing like a complimentary drink right when you board to say “welcome.” Don’t worry about your gadgets dying on a long fligh; their seats give you access to power. Those few extra inches provided in Premium Economy will be useful as you shuffle your way out of the aisle to check out their Wander Wall, an area to walk to for treats, drinks, and chit-chat.  Does this sound familiar to you? If so, you may have flown premium economy with Virgin Atlantic, this year’s winner for Best Premium Economy.

Best Business Class

Although they would do it, the people closest to you aren’t usually thrilled to take you to the airport. Paying for a Uber after already dishing out for a business class ticket just feels groan-worthy. If you fly business internationally, this airline will provide a complimentary chauffeur to and from your flight. They also have award-winning beds that recline you to a comfortable 180 degrees. These seats-turned-beds will have you feeling like you’re sleeping at home. If this is how you’d like to fly business class, then look into booking a flight with Qantas, Business Traveller’s winner for Best Business Class.

Best First Class

Maybe it’s the spa shower, or the glowing bar, or the round-the-clock cuisine. Maybe it’s from all the returning customers, including Jennifer Aniston who just recently released her second ad endorsing them. It might even be the enthusiastic review by Youtuber Casey Neistat. Whatever it was, Emirates has won Best First Class by Business Traveller’s readers.

Best Airline

Are details not enough? Maybe you scrolled all the way down here to cut to the chase of what airline is the grandest of them all. If you read who won Best Economy Class, you’re already familiar with this airline. You guessed it: Singapore Airlines! Congratulations are in order for Singapore Airlines. Not only did they win Best Airline and Best Economy Class, but they also won Best Cabin Staff, Best Asian Airline, and Best Long-Haul Airline. That totals to 5 awards from Business Traveller! Looks like Singapore Airline went the extra mile and it paid off.
