It also has a wide variety of restaurants from other countries such as Thai, Korean, Chinese, Japanese and international fast food chains such as McDonalds, Wendy’s, Shakey’s Pizza Hut and more.

Climate: The climate in Manila just like the rest of the country is generally hot and humid all year round except the Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio City, which has very cool weathers all year round. This is because Manila lies within the tropics and so temperatures don’t go lower than 20C degrees. It only has two seasons, the dry season from January to May, the hottest weathers happen during summer from March to May, and the rainy season that occurs from June to December.

Transportation: Manila has a very advanced public transport system that includes railways such as the Metro Railway Transit and the Light Railway Transit systems. Its main roads and highways are often congested with many buses, metered taxis and colorful jeepneys. Jeepneys are public services that can occupy up to 16 passengers. It has two long seats facing each other, the only one of its kind in the world.
