Liverpool is synonymous with The Beatles, you know, the very famous Brit pop group – the original boy band who took the world by storm during the sixties. The city of Liverpool even named its major airport to the leader of the Fab Four, The John Lennon International Airport. April is a good month to visit the city of Liverpool because this is the time when The Grand National takes place, the most popular horse race in the world. Of course, don’t miss going to the Cavern Club and The Beatles Museum. July is best for this tour for it is when Beatles Day is celebrated in the city with parades and live concerts. Your Liverpool experience won’t be complete with enjoy at least one night in the city’s premier nightlife destinations such as cafes, bars and restaurants. Climate: Like most cities in the British Isles, Liverpool experiences relatively mild winter seasons and cool summers. Commuters also have access to a national network managed by the Network Rail that is connected to major cities and towns all throughout England. Its primary station is the Lime Street Station. Commuters in the city are serviced by buses, ferries, and of course, local rail network.
