Considered the entertainment center of China you will find Hong Kong.
Hong Kong is one of the largest financial centers in the world, and, great for both pleasure and business. Its capitalist economy is known to be the most flexible in the world for 15 long years. It has a very diverse culture that has been the result of years of British occupation. It is a place where the east meets the west as evident of the many influences of the western world mixed with the great culture of the Chinese. Hong Kong is a perfect spot for anybody who wants to be introduced to the cultures of China without having to miss the ways of the new. It is a very important center for international trade and finance which made it one of the Four Tigers of Asia because of its high and rapid economic growth and development especially during the sixties through the nineties. Its stock exchange is ranked as the sixth largest in the world.

The state of Hong Kong is also considered the entertainment center of China. It has become very famous for its martial arts films which gained worldwide recognition from 1960 to 1970. Some of the largest Hollywood Chinese names come from Hong Kong including Jackie Chan, Chow Yun-Fat, and the legendary Bruce Lee who have greatly influenced the world for his unique and powerful martial arts style. Famous Chinese filmmakers have also been making waves in Hollywood such as Stephen Chow and John Woo.

Visiting Hong Kong is a very enriching experience with its many large and modern buildings, shopping malls, active nightlife, theme parks, museums and restaurants. You can also visit elegant museums and large collection of Chinese art and crafts from its many exhibit and gallery centers. Of course, do not miss the recently built Hong Kong Disneyland that needs no introduction, Ocean Park, Water World, Victoria Peak, 100,00 Buddhas Monastery, Hong Kong Space Museum and its wet market. Of course, don't forget to taste the original Chinese noodles that are simply delicious.

Climate: The climate in Hong Kong from November to December is generally pleasant with cool breezes and plenty of sunshine. People consider these months the best in the year. Nearly half of the year, its temperature is considered very comfortable, just been the hot and the cold. The months of January and February experience cloudy weathers and occasional cold fronts and it is normal to get really cold during these months. Mild weather and high humidity are experience from March to April but higher grounds experience fogs and frequent drizzles. May through August is the hot and humid while tropical storms happen from July to September.

Transportation: Hong Kong is well known for its double-decked tram systems, the only one of its kind in the world. It is also known for its Star Ferry that travels across Victoria Harbor. Its other transportation networks are highly modern with a public transport card called the Octopus Card that is widely to board trains, buses, ferries and as a debit card for purchases in some outlets around the state. The Hong Kong International Airport is also one of the biggest and busiest airports in the world with over 47 million passengers every year.
