While each destination is different temperatures are normally standard- with winter weather, summer weather, spring weather and autumn weather. For those that never seem to be able to decide what to bring and pack a suit case or two of clothing that they will remain in the suitcase, here is a guide to help you decide on what to bring.

Winter:

Winter temperatures normally include chilly, cold, rain and/or snow. For these climate temperatures pack the following:

1. Coat. You should not only bring a coat that is great for casual with a hood and water resistant, bring a coat that is for dress, such as a beautiful woolen or tweed.
2. Umbrella. For rainy climates, always pack your umbrella.
3. Sweaters. Often times the cold requires layers of clothing to stay warm. In addition to you shirts and blouses, bring sweaters.
4. Gloves. Bring a warm pair of gloves to keep the hands warm.
5. Boots and shoes. Bring boots which will gear to the weather and shoes that are both comfortable and a pair for dress.
6. Scarves. Scarves are important in the cold weather. Be sure to pack a scarf or two.

Spring:

Spring is a time of light warmth with chill in the air. Make sure to pack accordingly.
1. Coat. A coat will likely be required, however, depending on the area, it likely will not need to be as heavy as your winter coat.
2. Sweater. Pack a sweater or two for the chili days.
3. Light weight clothes. Pack light weight clothes for those days that feel fresh as spring.
4. Combination of shoes. You likely will want a combination of shoes. Light and breezy and closed in.

Summer:

Summer is typically hot and humid and you definitely want to pack accordingly.
1. Light Shirts. Pack shirts that you will be cool in. This is especially important when sightseeing.
2. Shorts. Shorts are a must for the summer.
3. Bathing suit and beach hat. This is a must for lounging at the pool and visiting the beach.
4. Sandals. During the summer, the feet need to breath. Make sure you pack your sandals.
5. Suntan Oil. Suntan oil should be included in the suitcase to prevent burns from the hot sun.
6. Dress clothing. For nights out you definitely want to include dress clothes.

Autumn:

Autumn is a time of leaves changing and the weather changing. Definitely pack appropriately.
1. Shirts. Bring shirts that you can layer.
2. Sweater. Bring a sweater or two that will be great over your shirt.
3. Coat. Although you likely will not need a heavy winter coat, a windbreaker or light coat will be necessary.
4. Shoes. Shoes should be closed in.
5. Dress clothing. Dress clothing should be appropriate to the season.
Make sure to check on the climate in the area and pack accordingly. Don’t bring things that aren’t suited for the climate!
