Hong Kong is the central hub for passengers to connect to destinations around the world and will begin with its new upgraded economy cabins in 2012 which will fly between Hong Kong and other destinations such as Sydney, Shanghai, Toronto and Singapore,

The expansion to include further destination is expected to occur throughout the coming year.

What this means for the carrier is that they will enter the league of a new competition which include Qantas, Virgin Atlantic and British Airways, all of which also offer similar seating for both economy and business seating.

What the new upgraded position will mean to passengers is a more comfortable seat that is wider, better catering and entertainment and other additions that sets for a better experience in a flight.

The cabins which were once highly popular during the financial crisis among business travelers who were cutting corners on their flight by downgrading to the cabin, are now for the common flyer as the business class has once again to the higher standards in a cabin, and the airlines are responding accordingly.

American Airlines recently announced their “turndown” service for their international business and first class passengers, promising perks such as pajamas and slippers and quilted bed toppers.  This will be the only airline in the United States as of the 1st of September of this year to include these services among their flight.  The airline will also roll out a new amenity kit which contains Demagogical skincare products abroad their flights.   This is according to a recent report which was conducted on the airline.
